Proper Eating Habit (page overview)

Why we must have a proper and healthy eating habit?

-To provide the necessary nutrients that your body needs to create new cells, clean toxins, and to just function every day!

-Eating healthy now can help prevent future diseases such as diabetes and cancer.

-You will have more energy and be more alert.

What is healthy eating habit?

-It depends on the food pyramid.

Food pyramid is a guideline to healthy diet

The food pyramid shows that vegetables , salad and fruit should be taken constantly with 5-7 serving per day because vegetables has Kale that is a very popular leafy green vegetable with several health benefits. It provides good amounts of vitamins A, C, and K. Kale may benefit people with high cholesterol. Most fruits are naturally low in fat, sodium, and calories. None have cholesterol. Fruits are sources of many essential nutrients that are under consumed, including potassium, dietary fiber, vitamin C, and folate (folic acid).

Secondly, wholemeal cereals such as breads , potatoes , pasta and rice are the secondly recommended because it contain varieties of good source of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals, as well as healthy fats. It has fibers that help in constipation by serving 3-5 times per day . Unfortunately, there are refined grain in market like white rice and white grain.

Thirdly, milk , yogurt and cheese are thirdly recommended because they are high protein but unfortunately high content in fats too, those unsaturated fat will causing the blockage of blood vessel causing high blood pressure ,if worsen it will cause heart disease. By serving 3 times a day is a most limit that will decrease the risk of heart disease.

Fourth, meat , poultry, fish ,eggs ,beans and nuts are high content in protein and cholesterol . It has the less limit which is 2 times per day because it is high protein in content that is also high content in amino acid , if we always consume it our kidney will have problem such as kidney failure and will gain obesity if too many excess amino acid.

Fifth, oils , butter and others fat products are not recommended to be taken constantly because it is the main factor to causing obesity and leads to cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular disease is the top killer heart disease in Malaysia.We still can consume everyday but in small amount.

Lastly, the least or not to consume food are foods in high fat, sugar and salt because it didn’t has any healthy content and all are refined and high sugar that will causing liver disease if consume constantly ,beside that it will also cause the growth of bacteria in our body with its excessive sugar especially in our pharynx that will cause sore throat , cough, and more worse is asthma and diabetes too if liver not function well.

Those information are carried by our group (group 2) and we hope can bring awareness to society by our blog sites because bad eating habits is health killer.
